I’m Sandy (although I often go by my craft name, Anyanka,) a 32 year old married mother of one. Originally from Maryland, I am currently living in Arizona. I have been practicing withcraft and divination since 1994. I began with simple spells, a few books on psychic phenomenon, and a deck of tarot cards. I took to tarot cards immediately, and as I kept seeing the (insane!) accuracy of my readings, I had no choice but to believe in them completely.

I launched  http://www.thewitchescupboard.com online in 2002, with the help of my friend Doris,  in order to provide information, products and services to the community. I personally design and run the website, and handle orders from my webstore with the help of my husband. We also offer our products on both the ebay and amazon marketplaces.

I started a yahoo group in August 2006, http://www.witchforum.com/, as an online coven for Witches of all religions. We have performed group spells for the betterment of our community and the world at large. In March 2009 I joined the Facebook community. My Facebook fan page (as of 8/23/09) already has nearly 1,000 fans! I can also be found on Twitter, with (as of 8/23/09) 697 followers. As a natural progression, I have started this blog on August 23, 2009.

As you can see, I am an involved community member who has made the study & discovery of the world’s mysteries a big part of my life. I am constantly seeking a better understanding of our spirituality and the world around us, as well as trying to be a source of information, assistance, and guidance for those in need! I intend for this blog to help myself, and others, with these goals.
