Wow!! Who knew? This was such a great article! I love how it’s really rather positive..which i’ve been trying to focus so much more on! and I like the author of this article am a Gemini sun and Virgo rising. I’ve tried really hard to see each MR as a time to visit older projects and stuff ‘put on a shelf’ for another time. and i’ve only had one or two headaches so far with this MR period.
I’ve gone back to digital scrapbook designing .. something i started a year ago and let slide, and i’m making HUGE strides in it now. even with being in a contest for a spot as a designer in a store!

This is an amazing article. It makes so much sense and I love Ms. Manning’s “empowering” perspective on astrology. I too have read her book and loved it as well as another article she wrote about Mars called “Mars the Astrological “Why” Chromosome. Again, a very different and empowering perspective on an otherwise routine astrological influence. Her take on Mercury RX is so insightful and so beyond what other astrologers have to say about this that I put her theories to the test this morning and not only did I find out something I haven’t been able to find out for months, but because I had just read this article, I also kept myself from “spilling the beans” on a surprise party. I don’t think Ms. Manning was telling us to “commit” to a new partner during Mercury Rx, i thinks what she was saying is that this is a perfect time to “find” someone who could be and I agree. I think she made it very clear NOT to commit to anything during this universal recall we call Mercury Rx. LOL

I am familiar with Ms Manning’s work having read her outstanding book, Cosmic Karma: Understanding Your Contract with the Universe published by Llewellyn Worldwide. Her article on Mercury Retrograde will become a classic. She first actually defines the science behind the celestial illusion, then proceeds to interpret from an astrological viewpoint the meaning in terms of its application in our lives. I love her interpretation as it, in my mind, dubunks the all-to-pervasive notion that somehow MR is a really bad thing. I totally agree with her assessment and have actually applied her philosophy (unknowingly at the time) to my own life. It totally works for me!!

As for her work in karmic astrology, she is rapidly becoming a foremost authority on karma and the soul’s purpose in this lifetime. Her work has helped many, including me. This lady has the goods and I predict will become one of the most important spiritual and self-help voices of our time.
